Join ALPADIA's team to make summer 2025 an unbelievable experience! We are looking for highly motivated people, who have the ability to engage and inspire young students, and who are looking for an enriching and educational experience themselves.
We are currently recruiting for Night Supervisors on a fixed term summer contract.
Your role:

• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care
• Patrol the site systematically to ensure that the residence is secure and the students are safe.
• Liaise closely with Camp Manager with regards to any security concerns.
• Ensure that all ALPADIA rules, procedures and directives are understood and adhered to in full.
• Monitor the whereabouts of students on site, ensuring separation of genders and discouraging night time wandering out of rooms and buildings.
• Ensure the health and safety, welfare and discipline of students, anticipating discrimination, bullying, and damage.
• Take responsibility for the school buildings e.g. locking up, lights off, etc.
• Completing a nightly report and presenting this to the Camp Manager each morning.
• Ensuring you are fully familiar and ready to enact Alpadia's Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Anti-Bullying and any other relevant policies.
• Dealing with all other reasonable requests as decided by the Camp Manager

Qualifications
Your profile:

• Are always courteous and polite at all times with everyone.
• Do not argue with your colleagues in front of students or their Leaders.
• Do not delegate your duties to other people.
• Work as a team.
• Use your common sense to solve unforeseeable problems.
• Do not drink alcohol or smoke in front of the students.
• Keep a positive attitude even if something goes wrong.
• Make students and Group Leaders understand the importance of being punctual at all times.
• Do not joke about sexual or personal matters with students.
• Be careful of your body language, and to always think what your behaviour could look like to a suspicious adult.
• Being flexible and adaptable to change
• Inform the Camp Manager if you have a problem with a student or if anything comes to light

Location of our course centre and dates of commitment:

• Brighton 29.06.25 - 09.08.25
• 6 x nights per week, 22:00 onwards

Miscellaneous:

• Typically a residential position with accommodation provided on site
• We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our students therefore all staff employed will be required to provide / undergo an Enhanced DBS check (and provide overseas conduct certificates where applicable)
