We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee the operations of our Collingwood Street Venues, ensuring an exceptional experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bars, nightclubs and hospitality, with a passion for excellent service and team management. This role requires a hands-on approach to bar operations, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises safety and quality service.

Responsibilities

Manage daily bar operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and ordering supplies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the bar area. Train and supervise bar staff in bartending techniques and customer service skills Monitor customer satisfaction and address any concerns or feedback promptly to enhance the overall guest experience. Develop strategies to increase bar sales while maintaining cost control measures. Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and communication. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Drive revenue through attentive service, ensuring the team take all upsell opportunities Manage departmental costs, including delivering outstanding GP performance Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential. Strong knowledge of bartending techniques, cocktail preparation, and food safety practices. Previous experience in team management, demonstrating the ability to lead and motivate staff effectively. Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and guest relations.
