We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Nights Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during night shifts, adhering to all clinical standards and protocols.
Monitor patient conditions continuously, promptly identifying and responding to any changes or emergencies.
Administer medications and treatments accurately, following prescribed plans and documentation requirements.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
Maintain detailed, accurate records of patient assessments, interventions, and progress in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during overnight hours, fostering a caring environment.
Ensure infection control procedures are rigorously followed to maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Assist with patient mobilization, hygiene, and comfort measures as needed during the night shift.
Participate in handovers at shift change, communicating vital information clearly to incoming staff for seamless continuity of care.
Experience
Proven experience working as a Registered General Nurse (RGN), preferably within hospital or community settings.
Strong knowledge of clinical practices, medication administration, and emergency response procedures.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team and independently under pressure.
Ability to remain calm, focused, and proactive during high-pressure situations or emergencies.
