Bluestones is working with a leading distribution company in the Nutts corner area and due to a massive expansion they have a requirement for immdidate start warehouse operatives

Hours Sunday To Friday 19:30pm to 04:30am

Loctaion Nutts Corner

Salary 14.97 plus O/T

-Once you go permanent the possibility of obtaining forklift license or HGV license if that is what you would like to do

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This position requires a strong focus on quality control and efficiency, as well as the ability to handle materials safely and effectively within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage areas Conduct quality control checks to ensure that all items meet company standards Perform picking and packing duties, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during all operations Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury Utilise warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels Apply mechanical knowledge to assist with minor equipment maintenance as needed Participate in shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch of goods

Requirements

Previous experience in a packing or warehouse role is advantageous Strong skills in materials handling, with an emphasis on safety practices Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift Mechanical knowledge will be beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality control standards Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
