WHAT ON EARTH IS DECIEM?

Known as "The Abnormal Beauty Company", DECIEM is the parent company of The Ordinary, NIOD, and other beauty brands & is an industry disruptor with a science first approach to innovation. DECIEM was Co-Founded in 2013 by the late Brandon Truaxe, a visionary who set out to change the beauty industry through authenticity and transparency. He developed DECIEM to be a happy family (of people and beauty brands), rooted in kindness, creativity, diversity, and respect, alongside Co-Founder, Nicola Kilner.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a

Brand Intern

studying

marketing/communications

, able to help our

NIOD Global

brand execution and growth.



You will be part of the

Global brand team

, reporting to one of our brand managers. The role is based out of

London

where a part of the team is sitting - while the rest is based in Toronto, Canada



This is a

4-month internship

starting on

January 5th, 2025

and ending on

April 24th, 2026

.

WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

Support in updating daily used tools and documents for all brand related topics, including calendars. Help build 360 plans for new products launches or campaigns - building strong decks to be shared internally. Support in coordinating any market/region requests (assets, VM, trade ...) Help build briefs for our creative and copy teams and lead internal formal requests (via Wrike). Help consolidate campaign feedback from brand + channels (during creative review and throughout campaign management) and feeding back to creative team. Help compile campaign/launch reports and track results with the cross-functional teams. Monitor brand visibility on online platforms and social media channels. Monitor, track and report any competitors and markets activities, relevant for the brand and projects. Lead NIOD Copy Review (collating agenda, transcribing feedback + sharing feedback document with copy submitters)*
Participate in weekly/monthly meetings and help coordinate invites and build agenda and recaps

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

Passionate, enthusiastic, curious and creative (we love out-of-the-box ideas!) Organizational skills are highly required as the internships consist in juggling several projects at once and being in contact with several internal and external people. Attention to detail, proactivity, precision, autonomy, reporting skills and team spirit also required Excellent knowledge of the office pack and Google Slides/Google Sheets. Experience with Photoshop and Fluency in French and in English is mandatory
