We're looking for a talented

NPD Floristry Designer

to join our Product & Marketing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a flair for creativity and a passion for flowers to contribute to the development of innovative, commercially successful floristry ranges for some of the UK's leading retailers.

The Role

As an

NPD Floristry Designer

, you'll play a key part in designing and developing new and existing floral products -- from concept to production. You'll manage a portfolio of development customers, ensuring that every design meets high creative standards, aligns with customer briefs, and is ready for commercial success.

Working closely with the Senior Floristry Designers, Commercial, and Technical teams, you'll help deliver standout product ranges that delight customers and reinforce MM Flowers' reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop innovative floral products for New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EPD) projects. Take ownership of allocated customer accounts, delivering creative, manufacturable designs that meet customer expectations. Manage project timelines, gate sheets, and deliverables to ensure designs are ready for production on time. Support Senior Floristry Designers with complex accounts and larger-scale projects. Present designs and samples confidently to customers, ensuring all presentations and paperwork are completed accurately. Stay on top of floral and gifting trends, bringing fresh, creative ideas to each range review. Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, procurement, technical, and operations teams to deliver seamless project execution. Maintain the NPD studio and resources, ensuring an organised and efficient workspace.

About You

You'll be a creative thinker with a strong eye for design and a genuine love for floristry. You'll combine artistic flair with excellent organisation and communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects and building strong working relationships across teams.

Essential Skills & Experience

Working knowledge of cut flowers and floristry. Some experience in product design or development, ideally within FMCG, floristry, or a customer-focused environment. Strong organisational and project management skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficient in Microsoft Office and open to learning design or project management tools.

Desirable Skills & Experience

Experience in the horticulture, floristry, or gifting industry. Understanding of packaging, artwork, and sample production processes. Familiarity with consumer trends and category insights.
