About the Role

The Grove Medical Centre located in Felixstowe are looking for an experienced nurse practitioner to work within our supportive, professional and experienced team. This position is offered on a part-time basis, ideally 3 full days each week but we are willing to negotiate for the right applicant.

This is a varied role providing advanced clinical care, managing a variety of acute and chronic conditions through both face-to-face and telephone consultations whilst working independently and alongside GPs and nurses to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care. We work on an 'on the day service' which has been successfully received by our staff and patients.

Key responsibilities will include:


Assess, diagnose, and manage patient conditions within your scope. Prescribe medications as appropriate. Provide telephone triage and face-to-face appointments. Maintain accurate patient records. Support practice initiatives and participate in audits and training. ###

About the Candidate

All applicants should have the following qualifications, registrations, skills and experience:
Registered nurse, current NMC registration with an active PIN. Nurse practitioner qualification. Independent prescribing qualification (IP). Experience working within primary care or similar setting. Enthusiastic and compassionate. Strong clinical decision managing.
Excellent communication skills.
