Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP) / Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) - Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC)

Overview:

We are working with a respected NHS client in Somerset to recruit experienced ENPs or ANPs to support their busy Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC). This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic clinical team, providing high-quality urgent care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and discharge patients presenting with minor illnesses and injuries Conduct full clinical assessments and develop care plans based on clinical judgement and evidence-based guidelines Request and interpret diagnostic tests including x-rays and ECGs Administer treatments such as wound care, suturing, plaster application, and injections (IM/SC) Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical leadership as needed Adhere to professional standards and policies, including NICE and local NHS guidelines Support safe use of PGDs or non-medical prescribing, where applicable

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Minor Illness and Minor Injuries modules (Essential) Top-to-toe Health Assessment qualification Competency in ECG interpretation, wound care, and IRMER/Red Dot principles Suturing and plaster of Paris application experience Ability to refer to x-ray and interpret results independently

Desirable Skills:

Non-medical prescribing qualification Experience with phlebotomy/venepuncture Suture/staple removal competency

Pay: 45.00-55.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7.5 - 55 per week
