Join Our Team as a GP Nurse Practitioner

Are you a passionate, skilled Nurse Practitioner looking to make a real difference in patient care? We are seeking a dedicated GP Nurse Practitioner to join our busy, friendly practice. Hours are flexible, ranging from 20 to 37.5 hours per week. Our surgery is based on one site and we care for over 12,000 patients.

We are an open, friendly and dedicated multi-disciplinary team with a determination to provide excellent Primary Care to our patients as well as supporting, developing, and encouraging our staff.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of our established nursing team and responsible for providing the delivery of high-quality patient focussed services.

Burvill House GP Surgery is a caring and supportive team. We are a training practice located in the centre of Hatfield. We have a comprehensive and strong team of clinical and clerical support staff. We are an active member of our PCN.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnosis, and management Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans Provide health education and promote preventive care Work closely with GPs, specialists, and other healthcare professionals Support chronic disease management and urgent care services

Requirements:

Registered Nurse Practitioner with current license and certification. Experience in primary care or general practice preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong clinical decision-making abilities Compassionate, patient-centred approach
We will also consider a nurse who would like to train to be a nurse practitioner.
