Nursery Apprentices

to join our amazing nursery team. As a Nursery Apprentice, you will learn skills on the job whilst supporting children's play, learning & development to become a qualified Nursery Practitioner.

Your Key Responsibilities:

To provide the highest levels of care and education for all children attending the setting. Supervise, engage with, support, and meet the needs of the children Bring a positive attitude and creative ideas that inspire children to learn Prepare and join the children in engaging (and sometimes messy) activities Maintain the high standards of the nursery This vacancy is for a permanent position (for at least the duration of the Apprenticeship) with the possibility of full time employment within Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney upon the successful completion of the apprenticeship programme.

Essential skills & qualifications expected as a Nursery Practitioner:

Committed to and passionate about the role A positive attitude, have creative ideas that inspire children to learn, and able to use initiative Passionate about providing high standards of care and education to meet the individual needs of all children Enjoy working as part of a team, and take pride in maintaining positive working partnerships with colleagues, parents and carers
Any necessary training will be provided through our engaging training platform.

Apprenticeship details:

As an apprentice, you will be included on an Apprenticeship at either Level 2 or 3 in Early Years Education (dependent on your qualifications and experience). You will be allocated a mentor who will support you through your training, time out during work hours will be given to undertake research, coursework and prepare for assessments, and a regional trainer meeting will take place once a month in the workplace to set tasks, review work completed and observe your work.

About us:

As part of Monkey Puzzle Hartley Wintney, you will be joining our caring, welcoming and supportive team. We have been open since 2016 and are situated in a beautiful setting just outside Hartley Wintney. We are coming to the end of an exciting redevelopment project which includes refurbished staff facilities, the creation of a new room for our youngest babies, and an extension of our two gardens to include new natural learning environments for the children.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 8.15 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
