About Us/The Role

We are extremely excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic

Nursery Area Manager

to join our fantastic company. You will be overseeing three sites, predominantly based in GU7 but will visit the other sites in Hampshire and Surrey 1-2 times a week/when required. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated manger to join a supportive company to further their childcare management career.

Salary:

Up to 45,000pa (Depending on experience/qualifications)

Days/Hours:

Monday-Friday, 40 Hours, 8am-6pm Permanent / All Year Round

Nursery Area Manager Responsibilities:

Providing a high standard of childcare for children aged between birth - 8 years within a stimulating and friendly environment, that is physically and emotionally secure. To assist the directors in the general running of the nurseries, to maintain the highest standards expected, striving for Outstanding settings. Provide effective leadership and day to day management of all settings. Provide a secure, friendly, responsive, flexible and effective childcare service, meeting the needs of the local families as must the delivery of the highest quality education and care. Children's welfare must be of a paramount importance. To work in line with the Local Safeguarding Children Board (LSCB) guidance, and the Department for Education procedures, ensuring Safeguarding to all children is followed To be the first point of contact from all managers and to have regular meetings with the Directors to keep them up to date on matters of relevance.

About You

The ideal candidate will:

Previous Area/Ops Nursery Manager Experience required

Hold a Childcare Level 3 or above

Confident driver with own car

Excellent organisational skills Strong leadership and communication skills A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing the best care possible Be eligible to work in the UK
