This is RELIEF WORK ONLY. based on a casual contract. term time only and work mat be offered throughout non term time for our holiday club at Ripley. All candidates must have experience working with children, and hold a level 2/3 early years childcare qualification or equivalent. You must have at least 2 years of working in a child care environment. Work is available immediately for the right candidate and when suitability checks have been performed. Working with children aged 2 years to 5 years. This will initially be to cover staff absence etc at short notice. Also on a minimum contract of 5 hours per week. There may be the opportunity to have part time regular hours on a temporary basis if the needs arise. These may be between 4 and 12 hours a week, between the hours of 7.30am-6pm
To assist in the planning and setting up of the environment using the EYFS curriculum. To work in partnership with parents and other family members.To teach children offering an appropriate level of support and stimulating play experiences. To ensure children are kept safe and to understand the safeguarding procedures and practice. To support snack and lunch times. To attend training courses as required. To be aware and adhere to all the settings operational policies and procedures.To ensure adequate records are kept and updated regularly. To undertake any other reasonable agreed duties as directed by the preschool nursery manager.
