Job Description

West Lodge Day Nursery is set within the beautiful grounds of West Lodge Farm Park. We are seeking Bank Staff to cover staff sickness and holidays.

This is a flexible working position. The nursery is open between 7.30am and 6pm and you will need to be available to work within these hours. We operate for 51 weeks of the year.

We are set in the beautiful surroundings of West Lodge Farm and children have daily access to the farm park and all it has to offer. Pre school children also visit the Forest School based at West Lodge Farm Park on a daily basis.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic and dedicated staff to join the team. You will demonstrate a genuine passion for providing the highest standards in quality childcare - strong communication skills and team-working abilities are essential.

The successful candidate must have:

A good understanding of children's developmental needs and individual learning styles

The importance of maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

A love of the great outdoors!

The need to help children respect people of different race, ability, gender, religion and culture.
The importance of procedures to follow regarding Safeguarding children

Qualifications & Training: Ideally Level 2 or equivalent, we will consider applicants with experience of working in a nursery (minimum 2 years experience).

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
