Overview

We are seeking dedicated and passionate Nursery Bank Staff to join our team. As a Nursery Bank Staff member, you will support the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children on an adhoc basis. The role will involve covering both pre-planned annual leave and same day staff sickness.

Hours will be dependent on your flexibility and what you can offer. Cover will be our sessions which are 8am-1pm, 1pm-6pm or 8am-6pm.

This role is for those with a relevant Level 2 or above childcare qualification.

It is the perfect role if you are studying at university, looking for part-time work or even if you are looking for a temporary job e.g. if you are going travelling.

Responsibilities

- Carry out age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide attentive care to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Communicate effectively with children and colleagues to foster a supportive community.
- Support staff in managing daily nursery routines and activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery environment.
- Follow nursery policies and procedures

Skills

- Experience working with children in a childcare or nursery setting is essential.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for potential further site covered if willing.
