The role

You'll lead our kitchen to deliver fresh, nutritious, age-appropriate meals that children love, while upholding impeccable food safety standards.

What you'll do

Plan, cook, and serve balanced

organic

menus for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers; adapt textures/portions by age group. Manage allergens and special diets; maintain clear labeling and records. Keep our

5-star

standards: implement cleaning schedules, temperature logs, HACCP/SFBB practices. Order stock, manage suppliers and budgets, and minimise waste. Work closely with the Nursery Manager and rooms to align mealtimes with learning and routines; occasionally support simple child-led cooking activities.

What you'll bring

Proven chef/cook experience (nursery/school/healthcare ideal). Current Food Hygiene & Allergen Awareness certification (Level 2+); strong knowledge of UK food safety. Meticulous standards, great organisation, and a calm, friendly manner. Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain); right to work in the UK.
