Nursery Chef (term Time Only)
Job Description
Our friendly and vibrant nursery is looking for a Chef to join our amazing team. Our goal is to create a truly inclusive culture and diverse workforce.
At Little Clovers Nursery we are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of children and young people. An enhanced DBS check will be required for this role. Safeguarding training is a fundamental part of every role and you are required to complete regular training. A Disclosure and Barring Service Certificate is mandatory for all positions, and this role will be subject to enhanced checks as part of our safeguarding duties. The kitchen must run smoothly and comply with all health & safety regulations.
Do you have a
Food hygiene qualification, previous cooking experience ?

Are you able to:
Plan menus, Prepare and cook meals according to our menu and standards create new meals from fresh ingredients Asist with inventory and restocking supplies Catering experience, preferably in a similar environment. Food Hygiene Certificate. Knowledge of food preparation for special dietary needs, using the purple system ? Teach children how to cook & bake Collaborate with the team
*This role is offered on a 20 hours per week basis, some weeks you may be offered more hours than others. You are not obliged to work the hours we ask of you.
*Room for progression within the company, and possibility of a permanent contract
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
