Hours:

Part-time- typically Monday to Friday, 915am-145pm

Salary:

14,285 per annum (over 21 years old)

What You'll Be Doing:

Preparing and cooking healthy, balanced meals and snacks for children aged 0-5 years, in line with dietary requirements. Planning weekly menus in collaboration with the nursery team and in accordance with nutritional guidelines. Catering for allergies, intolerances, and special dietary needs. Maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen (following Safer Food Better Business practices). Managing kitchen supplies and placing food orders as needed.
We're Looking For Someone Who:

Has experience in a similar cooking role - experience in a nursery, school, or care setting is ideal. Holds a Food Hygiene Level 2 Certificate (or willing to obtain). Understands dietary needs for young children. Is organised, efficient, and enjoys working in a child-focused environment. Has a warm and caring personality - someone who enjoys being part of a friendly team.
