Job Description
Raising Explorers Nursery is seeking a passionate and reliable Cook to join our team. We are dedicated to providing children with nutritious, balanced, and delicious meals that support their growth, health, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and prepare healthy meals and snacks in line with dietary requirements, allergies, and cultural preferences. Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety at all times. Manage stock levels, ordering, and kitchen supplies efficiently. Work in line with nursery policies, Ofsted regulations, and health & safety guidelines. Ensure mealtimes are a positive and enjoyable experience for all children.
Requirements
Previous experience working as a cook (experience in a childcare or school setting preferred). Knowledge of nutrition for young children. Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above). Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently. A caring, positive attitude and commitment to supporting children's wellbeing
