Looking for a daytime cooking job where you can run your own kitchen?

We are recruiting a chef/cook for our growing children's nursery business.

You will be:

An experienced cook Able to run a kitchen to the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and record-keeping Keen to design imaginative menus that appeal to young children Knowledgeable about nutrition and healthy, safe food for babies and toddlers. Capable of pricing, budgeting and managing stock Confident to take sole responsibility for the kitchen
We are looking for someone to work daily over a lunch shift, five days a week from Monday-Friday.

This job also includes daily driving to deliver hot cooked food to our sister site in West Hill (EX11 1UE) so a clean driving licence and your own car is a must.

This role is based in the kitchen at our farm nursery setting, Little Farmers @ Burrow Farm, part of the beautiful Killerton Estate near Broadclyst. For more details see www.littlefarmerschildcare.co.uk

This role is subject to the highest standards of safeguarding. We will require the successful candidate to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Govt update service as well as undergoing in-depth background checks. Candidates must also provide evidence of their right to work in the UK and undergo international police safeguarding checks overseas if they have lived /worked abroad in the past five years.

Pay: 13.50-14.50 per hour
