Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as the Nursery Cook. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dietary services, providing high-quality meals and snacks preparation, and maintaining food safety standards.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines Assist in menu planning to ensure variety and nutritional balance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage and handling techniques are followed
Skills
Have experience in providing nutritional meals Can work with the manager to plan seasonal menu's Level 2 and 3 in Food Safety (we can put you through these if needed) Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling Excellent cooking skills with an emphasis on meal preparation and presentation Ability to work efficiently in a kitchen whilst maintaining quality standards Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
Work Location: In person
