We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
Assist in the planning and preparation of meals, ensuring that all food is prepared in a timely manner.
Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient kitchen operations and assist with training new team members as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to the kitchen manager.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
Help create new menu items or specials based on seasonal ingredients or customer preferences.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or commercial kitchen setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is essential.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are crucial.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills in the culinary field.
