Job Description
The Cottage Day Nursery is recruiting an experienced cook to work within our 'outstanding' nursery providing homemade and nutritious meals for up to 60 children per day.
The ideal candidate will:
- hold a qualification in Food Hygiene
- work 28.75 hours per week, Mon-Fri
- have experience with cooking for children (desirable but not essential)
- be positive and motivated
- be capable of managing a small kitchen
- maintain a clean and organised environment
- monitor stock levels
- be aware of current allergy and dietary requirements
- work in partnership with the cooks based at our other nurseries
