Nursery Cook Wanted - Join Our Caring Team!

Contract Type: Full-time Permanent

Are you passionate about creating nutritious, delicious meals for little ones? Do you love working in a warm, supportive environment where your culinary skills help fuel play, learning, and growth?

We're looking for a dedicated Nursery Cook to join our friendly team and play a vital role in the daily life of our nursery. You'll be responsible for preparing healthy meals and snacks for children aged 0-5, catering to a variety of dietary needs and allergies, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

What You'll Do:

Plan and prepare balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks Ensure all food is cooked and served in line with food safety regulations Manage stock, place orders, and maintain kitchen cleanliness Work closely with nursery staff to accommodate dietary requirements and allergies Create a welcoming kitchen environment that reflects our values of care and community
What We're Looking For:

Experience in cooking for groups, ideally in a childcare or school setting Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards (Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate preferred, but training will be provided) Ability to plan menus and manage kitchen routines independently A warm, reliable, and flexible team player Passion for providing nutritious meals that children love
