Job Title: Nursery Cook

Ladybird Nursery is a warm and welcoming setting, caring for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic Cook to join our team and prepare healthy, balanced meals for the children in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare, and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children, taking into account allergies, dietary needs, and preferences. Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment in line with food hygiene and health & safety standards. Manage stock, place orders, and ensure cost-effective use of ingredients. Keep accurate records of meals, allergens, and food safety checks.
About You:

Experience working as a cook, ideally in a nursery, school, or similar setting. Knowledge of children's dietary requirements and allergy management. A Food Hygiene Level 2 (or willingness to complete training). Good organisational skills and ability to work independently. Friendly, approachable, and committed to supporting children's health and wellbeing.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
