Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in the planning of menus, taking into consideration dietary restrictions and seasonal ingredients. Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and adhere to food safety regulations. Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management to ensure timely replenishment of supplies. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Assist with the presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's quality standards.

Requirements

Proven experience as a

Cook

or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in meal preparation. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation. A passion for cooking and creativity in developing new dishes is highly desirable. Food Hygiene level 2 or above qualification is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: 12.25 per hour
