Responsibilities

Prepare and cook healthy meals for children Ensure all food safety standards are met Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen Assist in meal planning and preparation Monitor inventory of kitchen supplies Provide support during meal times, ensuring a pleasant dining experience Engage with children during meal times to promote healthy eating habits

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking Strong knowledge of food safety regulations Previous kitchen or culinary experience preferred Ability to work collaboratively within a team Excellent time management skills Passion for working with children and promoting healthy eating habits Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the nursery environment
