Nursery Cook / Housekeeper

to join our team.

The Role

This is a varied and valued role within our nursery, combining kitchen and housekeeping responsibilities to help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our children and staff.

Key responsibilities include:

Preparing and serving healthy, nutritious meals and snacks in line with dietary requirements and food safety standards Cleaning and sanitising high-touch points and general nursery areas throughout the day Maintaining high standards of hygiene in line with health and safety guidance Daily restocking of supplies and ensuring areas are well organised Working collaboratively with the nursery team to support daily routines

Hours

5 mornings per week

Finish time: 1:00pm

Term time only

We are also open to applications from candidates who may be interested in

supporting our After School Club

in addition to the morning role.

For after school club work, applicants will need a

Playwork qualification

or be

willing to undertake training

to achieve this.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work Has good knowledge of food hygiene and cleaning standards (experience in a nursery or similar setting is desirable but not essential) Enjoys working in a child-centred environment Is flexible, friendly and a positive team player Is willing to complete relevant training if required
