The Kindergarten Huntly are looking for a cook to prepare and cook meals for children in our nursery. Candidate must be co operative and flexible and have basic knowledge of cooking meals.
Part time role of 17.5 hours per week, term time only. However occasional holidays may be required to be covered.
Elementary food hygiene and allergen certification preferred, but not necessary as training will be provided.
Successful candidate will require a PVG check and 2 references.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report any shortages or issues to management.
Participate in menu planning and development, contributing creative ideas for new dishes.
