We are seeking a dedicated and passionate

Nursery Cook

to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and food safety, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating delicious dishes. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality meals to our children.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards. Assist in the planning of menus and daily specials, ensuring seasonal ingredients are utilised. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management. Ensure all kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation, and kitchen operations. Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creativity in meal presentation.
