Summary

We are seeking a Cook to join our team at Paper Moon Nurseries for 32.5 hours per well. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious meals for our children, ensuring that all food safety standards are met. Your culinary skills will play a vital role in creating a positive dining experience that supports the health and well-being of the children in our care.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for children according to dietary guidelines. Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed. Plan menus that cater to the nutritional needs of young children. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Collaborate with nursery staff to accommodate any specific dietary requirements or allergies. Assist in inventory management by tracking food supplies and placing orders as needed.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook or chef, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. Strong culinary skills with knowledge of nutrition for young children. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
