What We Are Looking For
A reliable and caring Nursery Cook to join our team, helping us provide nutritious and balanced meals for the children in our care. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a child-focused environment and understands the importance of mealtimes in a nursery setting.

About You
Previous experience working as a chef
Minimum level 2 food hygiene certificate
Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing menus from scratch, considering nutritional guidelines, dietary restrictions, and age-appropriate food choices for children.
In-depth understanding of food allergies and dietary restrictions, with a track record of implementing rigorous allergen management protocols in meal preparation.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with nursery staff.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and plan weekly menus that adhere to nutritional guidelines and accommodate children's dietary restrictions.
Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations. Ensure all food preparation and storage areas meet sanitation standards.
Work closely and communicate effectively with the nursery staff.
Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for children, ensuring a high standard of food quality and taste.
Keep accurate records of food orders, inventory, and production schedules.
