Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Cook to prepare and cook nutritious, balanced meals for up to 96 children. You will collaborate closely with our Operations Manager to ensure all dietary and allergy requirements are met. Maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in the kitchen will also be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of healthy meals for children Ensure meals meet dietary and allergy requirements Maintain high hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen Work closely with the Operations Manager to monitor meal planning and preparation

Hours:

Part-time position (21-35 hours per week) Minimum required hours: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Immediate start available Job share available

Salary:

Competitive salary based on experience

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role is essential Must demonstrate strong organisational and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Level 3 Food Hygiene and Allergy Awareness Training will be provided Employment subject to a full DBS check and satisfactory reference
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.95 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 35 per week
