Job Overview:
Orchard Day Nursery is a small family run business with a maximum of 36 children per day. We are looking for someone with a minimum of level 2 Food Hygiene who has a good understanding of allergies and preparing healthy food for the children in our care. The post is 20 hours a week 9.30am- 1.30pm but extra hours may be available.
Duties:
- Prepare and cook dishes for the varying number of children in that day
- Assist in planning menus and estimating food requirements for weekly shopping
- Ensure food preparation meets safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and dining room environment
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
Skills:
- Understanding of food safety requirements
- Ability to work well in a small team
- Excellent time management skills
- Kind and caring to the children at Orchard at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.50 per hour
