Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in the daily meal preparation, ensuring all food is fresh and of the highest quality.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and efficient workflow.
Help with inventory management, including ordering and stocking supplies as needed.
Participate in menu planning and development, offering creative input for new dishes.
Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained and cleaned after use.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cook in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and practices.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
