Job Description

We are looking for a special someone to cook deliciously healthy meals for our little ones, keeping them full of energy for the day ahead of them.

What would be involved in the Nursery Cook's job?

Cooking and Preparing delicious meals and snacks. Keeping the Kitchen Area clean and tidy. Managing stock control. Being aware and managing allergies, intolerance and dietary requirements. Ensuring we meet Food Hygiene Standards. Actively involved in developing and implementing the Food Menu. Organising and providing weekly shopping lists for Food Orders. Being Positive!

What are we looking for?

A Star Baker Willing to try new recipes Someone who is interactive with both children and other staff Likes a cup of Tea and a biscuit Someone who is independent, but can work as a team when necessary Someone who is willing to take on the whole catering function - from cooking, serving, tidying and washing up Someone that's not easily offended by the children not eating all their dinner. Someone willing to complete and participate in professional development - online training. Someone who wants to be apart of our friendly Ash Park Family.

It is desirable for the cook to have completed their Level 2 Food Hygiene and have some experience in a Kitchen environment

All jobs are subject to a DBS clearance and 2 satisfactory references, due to working within a Nursery.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 27.5 - 37.5 per week
