Acorn to Oak Nursery Ltd are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Cook to join our lovely team in Winsford. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals and ensuring that all food safety standards are adhered to. This role requires a strong understanding of meal preparation, hygiene and allergy awareness. The role is for 16 hours over 5 days, Monday - Friday covering the lunchtime period.
Duties
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established menus and assist in creating new menus.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
Assist in the planning and execution of daily meal preparation tasks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
Skills
Current Food Hygiene certificate.
Proven experience in a Kitchen environment is preferred, with particular attention to dietary needs and allergies.
Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and food safety practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for cooking.
