About you
You are a
Level 3 or above qualified
in early years, who enjoys supporting and encouraging the natural curiosity and excitement of young children.
You have a nurturing, warm and positive outlook, and you care about children's development, health and wellbeing.
What you'll be doing
Our children are our main priority, alongside their safety, development, health and wellbeing.
You will be covering our current deputy manager's maternity leave.
You will be working closely with the nursery manager to run the setting on a daily basis and to run the setting in the managers absence.
You will spend your days; telling stories, getting messy, dancing, singing and most of all laughing and taking care of all of our little explorers!
You will be providing fun, exciting, meaningful activities to support children's learning and development. You will be a key person to a group of children, offering a warm and nurturing approach, for both the children and their parents/carers. You will form amazing bonds with the parents, ensuring positive detailed feedback is given at the end of each day.
You will need to model outstanding practice at all times.
You will need to support the manager to promote a happy, safe and welcoming environment for ALL staff and children.
To implement the nursery curriculum across all rooms and support the manager in ensuring the staff are implementing this daily.
What you'll need
A full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification within early years.
Experience as a deputy manager or room leader is preferred.
Knowledge and understanding of the EYFS is desirable.
Good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding.
