The Role

As Deputy Manager, you'll collaborate closely with the Nursery Manager to guide the team, maintain high standards of care and learning, and oversee the daily running of the nursery. You'll serve as a role model to staff, nurture strong relationships with families, and ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Nursery Manager in all areas of leadership and coordination Step in during the Manager's absence Inspire, support and coach the staff team Ensure the EYFS framework is implemented effectively Promote children's development, learning, and welfare Build meaningful, trusting relationships with parents and carers Maintain accurate documentation and uphold health & safety practices

About you:

Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent) At least 2 years' experience in a senior nursery role Strong leadership, communication and time management skills A commitment to delivering outstanding childcare Solid knowledge of safeguarding and EYFS expectations
