Deputy Nursery Manager

to join our nurturing and supportive team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a leadership role in a vibrant and caring setting, with specific responsibility for running our small

preschool and older toddler room

.

Key Responsibilities:

As Deputy Manager, you will support the Nursery Manager in the overall running of the nursery and be responsible for:

Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the

toddler room.

Planning and delivering age-appropriate, stimulating, and engaging activities that support each child's learning and development Maintaining accurate and up-to-date

records of children's progress

, attendance, and safeguarding documentation Communicating effectively with

parents, carers, and professionals

to build strong relationships and ensure the best outcomes for children Leading and participating in

regular team meetings

, including recording minutes and following up on action points Supporting and guiding team members to maintain high standards of care and education Stepping in to complete

administrative tasks

and ensuring smooth nursery operations in the

absence of the Nursery Manager

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

Qualified to

Level 3 in Childcare

(or above) Experienced in an early years setting A strong communicator with excellent

organisational and time management skills

Passionate about delivering high-quality childcare and committed to

safeguarding and promoting child welfare

Confident in supporting and motivating a team Able to maintain high standards of care, learning and nursery administration
