We are looking for a passionate, friendly and hard-working Deputy Manager to join our nursery team at Sewell Park, NR3 4BF..

The Role

This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, following a shift pattern. Sewell Park is open between the hours of 7.45am-6pm

Key Duties

As a Deputy Manager your responsibilities are...

Support the manager and team Lead staff and teams Building relationships with key children and their families Provide a stimulating learning environment Record and promote development Ensuring the well-being and safety of the children Support daily routines Follow policies and procedures Maintain confidentiality Safeguard the children from harm

Requirements

The successful applicant will need to have...

Level 3 qualification Management experience: 1 year+ Strong leadership skills Work well in a team Great understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework (EYFS) Strong passion for a child-centred approach to play and learning Excellent communication skills; written and verbal Excellent organisation skills and time-management
