About Us

Mini Miracles Montessori is an independent, family-run nursery based in Brentford. We were rated Good by Ofsted in November 2022. We specialise in practicing the EYFS curriculum in conjunction with the Montessori method of teaching. We are now looking for a reliable and hardworking Nursery Housekeeper to join our Team and help ensure our nursery remains a safe, clean and welcoming environment for the children in our care.

As a Nursery Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing meals and snacks for children, following food hygiene and dietary requirements. Ensuring the kitchen, eating areas and playrooms are kept clean and tidy at all times. Washing up, cleaning tables and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness throughout the nursery. Carrying out general cleaning duties, including hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces. Managing laundry (e.g. bedding, towels, children's clothes) as required. Monitoring and replenishing cleaning and kitchen supplies. Following the nursery's health and safety and food hygiene procedures at all times. Supporting the wider nursery team with tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the setting.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with the following:

Previous housekeeping, cleaning or catering experience (preferably in a childcare or school setting) Basic understanding of food hygiene and health & safety (training can be provided) Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures (training can be provided) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable, organised and able to manage time effectively Good communication skills and a positive attitude
