We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Educator to join our childcare team at our Ofsted Outstanding rated Nursery . The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their developmental needs through engaging activities and personalised care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in early childhood education and childcare to make a positive impact on children's lives while developing their management and leadership skills.
Duties
Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
Supervise and support children during play, meal times, and rest periods
Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity and exploration
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding children's development and wellbeing
Manage daily operations within the nursery, including organising resources and ensuring health and safety standards are met
Lead and mentor junior staff or apprentices, demonstrating strong management and leadership qualities
Ensure compliance with all Ofsted standards and organisational policies
Assist with organising outings or trips in accordance with safety guidelines
Contribute to ongoing curriculum development to enhance learning experiences
Experience
Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood setting
Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare practices
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Experience with organising activities that support developmental milestones
Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting children or attending external activities

Candidates should possess excellent organisational skills, a caring attitude, and the ability to lead by example. All applicants must hold a full and relevant LEVEL3 or above in CHILDCARE, CHILDHOOD STUDIES or equivalent and will be required to demonstrate their suitability through relevant experience and qualifications in early years education or childcare.
