We are looking for a Nursery Manager to join our team and lead the setting. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading and inspiring our team to provide exceptional care and Early Years education for young children.
You will oversee the daily running of the nursery, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that supports each child's development.
Your leadership will help shape the Nursery's ethos, maintain high standards, and foster strong relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community.

Hours/Days:
40 Hours, Monday-Friday
All Year Round / Permanent
Shifts between 7.30am-6pm
Nursery Manager Responsibilities:
Ensure a high standard of care, education, and EYFS delivery within the setting
Manage and support nursery staff, promoting a nurturing environment while ensuring compliance with childcare regulations and quality standards
Responsible for safeguarding as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the setting and working with outside agencies when required
Maintain high health, safety and hygiene standards, including daily checks and accurate record-keeping
Liaise professionally with parents/carers, promoting strong partnerships
Plan and deliver stimulating activities that support children's development
Monitor individual child progress and ensure inclusive, tailored planning
Support children's welfare, including personal care and nutrition
Organise safe, well-managed outings and external activities
Ensure confidentiality and uphold all nursery policies and procedures
Be a key holder and respond to emergencies as required
Collaborate with external professionals and participate in ongoing staff training
About You
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous Deputy / Nursery Manager Experience
Minimum Level 3 in Childcare
Strong leadership skills with experience in team management
A passion for early childhood education and development
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with parents, staff, and the wider community
Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety standard
Be eligible to work in the UK
