Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and management, with a commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children. This role requires excellent leadership skills, effective communication, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and the community.

Duties

Manage the overall operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive work environment that encourages professional development. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Maintain effective communication with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Ensure the nursery is safe, clean, and well-organised at all times. Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels efficiently to meet the needs of the nursery. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and implement strategies to support their individual needs. Collaborate with local authorities and other organisations to enhance community engagement and support services.

Requirements

Proven experience in management within a childcare setting is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Experience working with children in an educational or childcare capacity is required. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is advantageous for attending meetings or events off-site. A genuine passion for early childhood education and a commitment to providing high-quality care for children.

Pay: 24,420.00-39,710.43 per year
