The Secret Garden Attenborough is a small homely Day nursery in a beautiful quiet village located next to Attenborough's Nature Reserve. We are on a split site with the Pre-school located a few minutes walk away from the nursery side.

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Manager to join our wonderful team and manage the nursery side which cares for up to 29 children under 3 years old. This is an ideal opportunity for a deputy manager ready to step up or a nursery manager looking for a change.

We have a nursery administrator focusing on the paper work side of things which enables the manager to be fully focused on the staff team, children and families rather than being tucked away in the office.

We operate to the highest standards ensuring that the children in our care are safe, secure and that each child is at the centre of everything we do.

We are looking an individual that has:

A Level 3 in Childcare or above Experience of working within a Nursery Deputy Manager or Manager experience Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Well organised with attention to detail Willing to acquire new skills and undertake further training when necessary Enjoys working collaboratively as a member of a team Strong people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation Excellent knowledge of the EYFS Excellent knowledge in Safeguarding children

This is a Permanent position working 38-42.5 hours a week Monday to Friday with flexibility in hours would also be considered.
