The Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Nursery
Manager
to join our dedicated team. You will play a vital role in the daily operations of the nursery, supporting the Manager in delivering outstanding care and education, leading staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursery
Act as Manager in their absence
Lead and motivate the team to maintain a positive and nurturing environment
Ensure high standards of care, safety, and hygiene are consistently met
Plan, implement and monitor EYFS-based curriculum activities
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and staff
Assist with recruitment, supervision, and staff development
Maintain accurate records in line with safeguarding and Ofsted requirements
What We're Looking For
Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (Level 5 or above desirable)
At least 2 years' experience in a nursery or early years setting
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
Leadership or supervisory experience
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A caring, reliable and enthusiastic individual with a genuine passion for early years education
Paediatric First Aid and Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
