Humly is currently working with one of our clients to recruit a Nursery Manager. The nursery is based in the B30 area of Birmingham. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum Level 3 in Childcare to help them continue their journey to create a fantastic enjoyable learning experience for their children. Purpose of the role

The Nursery Manager works closely with the Director whilst also being expected to work autonomously in relation to everyday management responsibilities. The role requires the confidence to make decisions considering the reputation and financial aspects of the business whilst balancing a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.

Key Responsibilities

Provide operational management of the nursery facilities and staff, ensuring high quality education and care is delivered at all times Ensure company adherence to the nursery's policies and procedures, consistently meeting legislative requirements Follow the Early Learning and Development Programme, delivering standards which ensure the highest possible inspection grading Provide training, support, mentoring and supervision of the staff team to inspire and lead ambitious practice Create a safe, caring, and welcoming setting where families are happy to entrust their child Promote a successful and profitable business, engaging with the local community and marketing the nursery to reach maximum occupancy whilst providing excellent customer care

Requirements

Minimum Level 3 in Childcare qualification Experience in nursery management or senior childcare roles Strong leadership and team management skills Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What We Offer

Competitive salary: 38,000 - 50,000 per annum Full-time position: 40 hours per week Operating hours: 7:30am - 6:30pm Permanent contract Immediate start available Location: Birmingham B30
