We are seeking a confident and experienced Nursery Manager to lead a dedicated team and oversee the daily operations of our well-established early years setting. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional looking to step into a senior leadership role and make a genuine difference in children's lives.

The Role


As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the management and performance of the nursery. You will provide strong leadership to your team, ensure full compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks, and maintain a high-quality learning environment that promotes the wellbeing, development, and safety of every child.

Key Responsibilities



Manage all aspects of nursery operations including staffing, curriculum, compliance, and parent relationships Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care and early years education in line with the EYFS framework Oversee safeguarding, child protection and health & safety procedures, maintaining full compliance at all times Recruit, support and develop nursery staff through effective supervision, training, and performance management Plan and deliver an engaging curriculum that meets the needs of individual children Monitor occupancy levels and implement local marketing initiatives to support growth Maintain accurate records for children's development, staffing, finances, and nursery policies Foster strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies Promote a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous improvement

What We're Looking For



Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or Childcare (Level 5 preferred) Previous experience in a nursery management or leadership role In-depth knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted standards, and safeguarding procedures Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team A proactive, organised approach and a genuine commitment to early childhood education
