Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursery Manager to lead our high-quality nursery in Chester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate early years professional to make a lasting impact in a well-resourced, supportive, and forward-thinking setting.

About the Role:


As Nursery Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for all children. You will lead a team of dedicated practitioners, drive high standards of early years education and care, and play a key role in the ongoing development of the setting.

Main Responsibilities:



Lead, support, and inspire the nursery team to deliver outstanding care and education Ensure full compliance with EYFS, Ofsted standards, and all safeguarding policies Oversee effective planning, observations, and assessments to support every child's learning journey Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external agencies Manage nursery budgets, staffing, and occupancy levels efficiently Drive continuous improvement and contribute to strategic development plans

Requirements:



A minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years (Level 5+ preferred) 2 years experience as a Nursery Manager or strong Deputy Manager Level 3 in Maths Excellent knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted regulations Proven leadership, communication, and organisational skills A positive, can-do attitude and a commitment to high standards of care and education
