Banana Moon Day Nursery is excited to announce an opening for a Nursery Manager at one of our vibrant nurseries. As the Nursery Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission to nurture and inspire young minds in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a dedicated team of early years practitioners, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, nursery policies and procedures, and high standards of care and education.
Build strong relationships with children, families, and the local community, promoting a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.
Monitor and evaluate educational programs to ensure best practices are implemented in the nursery.
Provide training and professional development opportunities for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Manage the nursery budget and resources effectively, ensuring financial sustainability.

Requirements
Full and relevant Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years Education. Experience in a managerial role within a nursery or early years setting. In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and relevant legislation. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Ability to inspire and support staff development and progression. Strong organizational and administrative skills. Enhanced DBS clearance and Paediatric First Aid certification. Passion for early years education and a commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children.
